About the Inner West Local Business Awards
The Inner West Local Business Awards are one of the most credible and longstanding local business recognition programs in Sydney. Run by Precedent Productions, the awards have been celebrating outstanding local businesses for over four decades, shining a light on the businesses that make the Inner West one of the most vibrant, creative, and community-driven parts of Australia.
The 2026 program was supported by presenting partner Commonwealth Bank, along with major partners Inner West Council, City of Canada Bay Council, NOVA Employment, Ashfield Mall, and Big Clean. Nominations opened in March 2026.
To be part of that program - let alone to win - is something we don't take lightly.
Five Years in St Peters
Halo Print Co. started with one clear belief: that doing quality work, treating people well, and being genuinely embedded in your local community is the right way to run a business. Not the easiest way. The right way.
Five years on, we're still in St Peters, still printing out of the same studio, and still caring deeply about every job that leaves our hands. We've printed tees for musicians, uniforms for local businesses, merch for artists, event gear for festivals, and custom garments for brands right across the Inner West and beyond.
We've also had the absolute pleasure of being a creative home for the local community - a place where people come in with an idea and leave with something they're genuinely proud of.
The Nomination - and Your Votes
When we first shared that we'd been nominated, we weren't sure what to expect. We asked our community to vote, knowing that the Inner West is full of brilliant, hardworking businesses who deserved the recognition just as much as we did.
What happened next genuinely moved us.
The support was overwhelming. Customers old and new, local businesses we've worked alongside, and friends of the shop all showed up and voted. The messages, the comments, the kind words - it reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
Every vote was a person saying: this place matters to us. That's not something we'll ever forget.
The Win
Hearing our name called was a surreal experience - the kind of moment that makes five years of early mornings, tight deadlines, and same-day sprints feel completely worth it.
We're immensely proud. And we're deeply grateful.
What Comes Next
This award is a milestone, not a finish line. If anything, it raises the bar - for the quality of our work, the warmth of our service, and the role we play in the Inner West creative community.
We'll keep printing. We'll keep designing. We'll keep being the kind of local business that people are proud to support.
