Our Printing Methods
We don't just do one thing - we match the right method to your job. Here's a quick breakdown. For a deeper comparison, check out our guide on embroidery vs screen printing.
- Screen printing: bulk orders, bold colours. From 26 units. Standard, express or rush.
- DTG: small runs, full colour, photos. No minimum. Same day, express or standard.
- DTF: almost any fabric, versatile designs. No minimum. Same day, express or standard.
- Embroidery: premium uniforms, caps, polos. From 15 units. About 3 weeks.
- Custom patches: branding add-ons, uniforms. From 50 units. 2 to 4 weeks.
Screen Printing
Screen printing has been the industry standard for decades - and for good reason. It produces bold, vibrant, incredibly durable prints using plastisol inks that genuinely outlast the garment. If you're ordering 26 units or more with a consistent design, screen printing is typically the most cost-effective choice.
Best for: bulk branded tees, event shirts, staff uniforms in large runs.
Direct To Garment (DTG)
DTG printing uses eco-friendly, water-based inks to produce full-colour, photo-accurate prints directly onto the garment. There are no minimums, and it's one of the two methods we use for our same day service. Perfect for detailed logos, gradient artwork, and small runs.
Best for: small orders, complex artwork, urgent same-day jobs.
Direct To Film (DTF)
DTF is our most versatile method - it works on almost any fabric type, including hats, bags, stretch fabric, and synthetic blends. It delivers a soft, flexible, highly durable print with no minimums, and it's also available same day. Great if you need to print across multiple garment types in one order.
Best for: mixed-garment orders, unusual fabrics, detailed and colourful designs.
Embroidery
Embroidery adds a premium, textured, three-dimensional finish that elevates branded workwear. Logos stitched in thread have a weight and presence that print can't replicate - ideal for polo shirts, caps, jackets, and corporate uniforms. Minimum 15 units.
Best for: corporate uniforms, caps, premium gifting, and any brand that wants to look serious.
Turnaround Options
We know business doesn't always run on a two-week schedule. That's why we offer four tiers:
Same Day - DTG and DTF only
Payment in by 1pm, Monday to Friday, and your garments are printed and ready for pick-up around 4pm the same day. Subject to capacity, so the earlier you confirm the better.
Ideal for: last-minute event shirts, forgotten conference merch, urgent replacement uniforms, and deadline-driven activations. See our full same day printing service page for details.
Rush - 3 to 4 Business Days
For screen printing and embroidery jobs that can't wait, rush moves your job to the front of the queue. A rush fee applies.
Express - 5 Business Days
Skip the queue with our express service. Your job is prioritised and produced within 5 business days. The right option when you need quality without panic.
Standard - Up to 2 Weeks
Planning ahead? Our standard turnaround is up to two weeks from order approval. Screen printing runs over 20 pieces take 2 to 3 weeks and embroidery about 3 weeks. It's the most cost-effective option and often comes in earlier when we have capacity. Ideal for regular orders, seasonal runs, and organised event planners.
